Diversity: This snap opens from both ends, allowing the angler to use it several ways:

  • Tied directly to the line, it can be used to attach a hook, lure, or shock leader.
  • Add a swivel to control line twist produced by a rotating bait.
  • Add a 3-way swivel to make speciality rigs, such as dropper or flounder rigs.
  • Use them in making wire, monofiliment, or chain leaders.

    • Realistic:  The rounded shape of the lower portion of the snap allows lures to move in a free and uninhibited manner which lets the lure perform true and naturally the way the lure was designed to.  This feature makes it an excellent CRANK BAIT SNAP.  Using Duo Lock Snaps in this way prevents split rings or sharp edges of spoons from cutting or chaffing the line.  This is especially true when using fine diameter monofilament.
